What age is a 3D pen for? it is recommend 3D pens for kids age 6+. Kids as young as 6 can enjoy creating with a kid-friendly 3D pen. Kid 3d pens cost from 20 to 90 dollars for the pen or for a full kit. Is it safe kids 3D pens like the 3Doodler Start Pen and Eco-Plastics are specially designed to be completely safe for kids ages 6 years and above. There are no hot parts on the pen and our Eco-Plastic is non-toxic, BPA-free, and completely biodegradable in your household compost. but for a regular 3D pen (Please) do not touch the pen tip when it is hot, as it can cause burns.
